Clinical Expertise Meets Compassionate Care

We provide safe, fully licensed psilocybin therapy in Denver, Colorado, for individuals seeking relief from mental health struggles and for those pursuing personal growth, deeper self-understanding, or spiritual insight. You don't have to be in crisis to do this work. Many of our clients are simply ready to look more closely at their lives.

Whether you're local or traveling from out of state, a clinical facilitator guides you through every phase: preparation, the psilocybin session, and integration. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is left unprocessed.

Our clinical approach is informed by established, well-researched therapeutic models, primarily Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), held within a person-centered, trauma-informed practice. You don't need to know these approaches to benefit from them. They simply shape how we prepare you, how we support you during the session, and how we help you translate insight into lasting change afterward.

Our Clinical Framework

Structured Care, Grounded in Established Therapeutic Models

Psilocybin on its own is not therapy. What turns a powerful experience into lasting change is the clinical structure around it. Our work is informed by two well-researched modalities, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), within a person-centered, trauma-informed practice. You don't need any familiarity with these approaches; they simply guide how we support you.

IFS-Informed

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

An evidence-based model that understands the mind as a system of parts: protective patterns that developed for a reason, and a calm, grounded core Self beneath them. In our work, this means approaching what you're struggling with through curiosity and self-compassion rather than judgment, so long-held patterns can be understood and resolved rather than suppressed.

What this looks like
Parts work Self-compassion Understanding protective patterns Working from a grounded core
ACT-Informed

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

A modern, mindfulness-based therapy centered on psychological flexibility: making room for difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them, gaining distance from unhelpful thought patterns, and directing your life toward what genuinely matters to you. Research identifies psychological flexibility as a core mechanism behind psilocybin's lasting benefits.

Acceptance & willingness Present-moment awareness Cognitive defusion Values-based action

Both models pair naturally with psilocybin. The medicine softens habitual defenses and quiets self-criticism; the clinical framework gives that openness direction and helps insight take root.

The Process

Your Journey Unfolds in Three Phases

Every client receives structured, clinical support across all three phases. Preparation builds readiness and trust, the session is fully supported from start to finish, and integration turns insight into lasting change.

01

Preparation

Thorough clinical assessment, intention-setting, and safety planning. You'll get to know your facilitator, explore what brings you in, and build the practical skills that support you through whatever arises. State law requires at least one preparation session, and we treat this phase as foundational rather than a formality.

The Psilocybin Journey

Your session takes place at our licensed Denver healing center with your facilitator present throughout. Dosage and comfort protocols are agreed upon in advance, and you're supported continuously through whatever the experience brings, in an environment designed for safety and depth.

IFS: Grounded presence ACT: Openness to what arises

03

Integration

What happens after the session matters as much as the session itself. Integration sessions help you make sense of what surfaced, deepen self-compassion, and translate insight into concrete, values-aligned changes in daily life.

The Science

How Psilocybin Supports Healing

Research from Johns Hopkins, NYU, Imperial College London, and other leading institutions demonstrates that psilocybin therapy produces measurable, lasting neurobiological change, not just temporary relief.

Psilocybin promotes neuroplasticity: the brain's ability to form new neural connections and move beyond entrenched patterns associated with depression, anxiety, and trauma. It also temporarily quiets the Default Mode Network, the brain network linked to rumination and self-criticism, allowing new perspectives to emerge without the usual filters of fear and habit.

This softening of habitual defenses is also what makes structured therapeutic work so effective in this context. Acceptance, self-compassion, and present-moment awareness arise more readily than they do through effort alone, which is precisely why we pair the medicine with an established clinical framework.

Rather than suppressing or bypassing the patterns underneath, psilocybin therapy allows them to be seen, understood, and worked through at their source.

Neuroplasticity

Psilocybin stimulates BDNF (brain-derived neurotrophic factor), promoting the growth of new neural pathways that help the brain move beyond deeply ingrained patterns of depression, anxiety, and trauma.

Johns Hopkins, Carhart-Harris et al. 2021

Default Mode Network Reset

Psilocybin temporarily quiets the Default Mode Network, the brain network associated with rumination and self-criticism, creating a window of openness and flexibility that supports lasting change.

Imperial College London, 2014–2021

Rapid Symptom Relief

Clinical trials show significant, lasting relief from depression, anxiety, and PTSD, often after just one to three sessions, including in cases where traditional treatments have not worked.

NYU, Davis et al. 2021

Psychological Flexibility

Emerging research shows psilocybin substantially increases psychological flexibility, the central mechanism of ACT, supporting acceptance of difficult experiences and committed, values-aligned action long after the session ends.

Davis et al. 2020; Watts & Luoma 2020

Safe Under Clinical Supervision

Psilocybin has an excellent safety profile when administered in a prepared, supported clinical context. Our licensed facilitators and regulated healing center meet every safety standard Colorado requires.

Why It Works

Address the Patterns Beneath the Symptoms

In practical terms, psilocybin therapy doesn't simply help you avoid difficult emotions. It helps you safely turn toward them. Much of what keeps people stuck comes from long habits of avoiding, numbing, or over-identifying with painful thoughts and feelings. In a carefully supported setting, those patterns can finally be examined directly rather than managed around.

"Within a carefully supported setting, inner experiences arise vividly, and from a grounded, observing place, clients can directly engage what's been beneath the surface. Many access in hours what might take years in traditional therapy."

From that grounded state, you can begin to relate differently to old patterns, understand what has been driving them, and redirect your energy toward what matters most. Our clinical framework helps you not only understand those patterns, but resolve them at their source.

The Outcome

More Than Symptom Relief, A Deeper Shift

Our process is designed to address old patterns at their source rather than manage them at the surface. Many clients report greater clarity, connection, and psychological flexibility, and a life that feels more aligned with what genuinely matters to them.

I

Release

Long-held emotional patterns lose their grip, not because they're suppressed, but because they're finally understood and worked through at their source.

II

Reconnect

Clients reconnect with a calmer, steadier sense of self beneath the noise of fear, habit, and self-criticism, and begin operating from that place more of the time.

III

Live Forward

With old patterns addressed and a grounded center restored, committed, values-aligned action becomes possible, not just during the session, but in daily life.
